Tell us your first textile memory?

I have very fond memories of a Schumacher cotton chintz on my grandmother's sofa...At Christmas, we would spend hours on it opening our presents.

Which material inspires you the most? And what is your favourite combination?

I have always been attracted to the perfectly imperfect characteristics of natural fibres.
Linens and silks are among my favourite materials.
